You can gain the City & Guilds 6217 Plastering qualification in just six weeks, the intensive courses are excellent in getting you up to the required standard to enter the work place.
You will be trained in a purpose built environment and will be plastering walls from day one.
Intensive Plastering Courses
The training course will teach you the theory of plastering as well as practical hands on training so you will quickly absorb the skills you are being shown during the duration of your course.
The City & Guilds 6217 Plastering Course contains the underpinning knowledge of plastering methods and techniques you need and allows you to start work on a construction site as a plasterer with confidence.
Once you are working and gain some experience you will want to gain the NVQ in Plastering levels 2 - 3
The NVQ's can only be obtained through on the job assessments by a certified city and guilds examiner carried out in a place of work place by you.
The NVQ will assess:
- producing internal and external finishes
- applying and fixing dry lining boards
- producing castings
- fixing and repairing fibrous parts
Once you have achieved your NVQ you will be regarded as a fully qualified plasterer.
