The City & Guilds 6217 contains the underpinning knowledge of plastering methods and techniques you need and allows you to start work on a construction site as a plasterer with confidence.

You have the option of taking full time courses or part time courses, with the courses lasting anywhere between 4 and 8 weeks, but it all depends on the training centre and the options that are available to you. Part time courses are especially good if you have to stay in your current job and have to juggle your training hours around your working hours. You get to train at your own speed and you can spread your course out between months and sometimes even years.

The certificate proves that you have undergone the correct training to become a competent plasterer and now you would be ready to enter the workplace as a plasterer. You would have gained all the technical and practical skills that you would ever need to know in order to become a fully competent plasterer.
